About Our Data Sources
ProbaBaby strives to use reliable, evidence-based sources for all health and developmental information. Below we list the primary sources and organizations whose published data informs our app's features.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any of these organizations.
Vaccination Data Sources
Vaccination schedule and regulatory data is compiled from the following sources:
- World Health Organization (WHO): Global vaccination position papers and recommended immunization schedules.
- U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC): U.S. immunization schedule and vaccine information.
- European Medicines Agency (EMA): EU vaccine regulatory approvals.
- U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA): U.S. vaccine regulatory approvals.
- National immunization programs: Country-specific schedule data from published national health authority guidelines.
Growth & Development Sources
Growth tracking and developmental milestone data is based on:
- WHO Child Growth Standards (2006): Growth reference data for children 0-5 years.
- WHO Multicentre Growth Reference Study (MGRS): Underlying study data.
